1. What you are buying

DutyRank is an independent study product for the New York State Court Officer-Trainee exam 45-857. Access is a one-time purchase of $49 that grants you 12 months of access from the date of purchase. This is not a subscription: there is no recurring charge and nothing auto-renews.

2. The pass guarantee — refund conditions

We offer a full refund if you do the work and still do not pass. To qualify, all of the following must be true:

• You completed at least 80% of your generated study planbefore your exam date; and
• You finished all available full-length mock exams before your exam date; and
• You did not pass exam 45-857.

If you meet those conditions, you may request a full refund through the self-serve form at /refunds within 60 days of receiving your official results. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method. Completion of the plan and mocks is measured from your activity in the product.

3. Your account

Your access is for you alone. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or login, and you may not provide access to people who have not purchased it. We may suspend accounts that appear to be shared.

4. Content and acceptable use

All questions, explanations, lessons, and other materials are original works owned by DutyRank and protected by copyright. You may use them for your own personal exam preparation. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publish our content, and you may not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract it or to create a competing product.

5. Independent product; no guarantee of a specific score

An independent study product. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the New York State Unified Court System, the Office of Court Administration, or any government agency. Our practice materials are original and calibrated to public, official sources; they are not real exam questions and are not a prediction of actual exam content. Aside from the refund described in Section 2, we do not guarantee any particular score or outcome.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. [Venue and dispute-resolution details to be finalized in legal review.]
